Lilac Yunomi
The yunomi is perhaps the most versatile of our drinking vessels. Traditionally, it refers to a tall Japanese teacup with a turned foot, designed for everyday use and informal tea drinking. In modern times, its uses have expand beyond tea, making it perfect for enjoying coffee, soft drinks, or even a glass of whiskey or mixed drinks.
This yunomi is made out of black clay and glazed in a beautiful lilac colour.
Crafted from stoneware clay and high-fired in an electric kiln, this teacup is durable and dishwasher safe, making it both beautiful and practical for everyday use. Because the black clay has a high iron content, we recommend not to use it in a microwave oven.
