Slowly built by hand using sky blue coloured stoneware clay, carved, burnished, carefully glazed and high fired in an electric kiln. The soft satin shine of the unglazed outside surface creates a lovely contrast with the shiny glazed inside. It is a real centerpiece on its own or with flowers as well.
Comes with a free kenzan: a small Japanese tool for ikebana flower arrangement that fits neatly inside the base of the vase.
